ArtSpring Festival May 24-26, 2019

In addition to outdoor recreational opportunities, Tucker County boasts a progressive creative arts community that attracts working artists, patrons, and tourists. The sister towns of Thomas and Davis, located in Canaan Valley, feature multiple galleries, studios, art walks, and venues for live music and performance.  Every year on Memorial Day weekend, ArtSpring, the key coordinating body for Tucker County arts, hosts the ArtSpring Festival, a county-wide celebration of the arts. Events in former years have included a silent auction, gallery openings, handmade art market, live music, demonstrations, Lantern Parade, square dance, open studios, history tours, nature photography walks, outdoor farmers’ market, craft beer and cocktails, and much more.
